Product Review: Endangered Species Créme Filled Dark Chocolate

Cream and chocolate. There is nothing better, nothing.  Since going vegan, I’ve sincerely missed cream-filled chocolate bars and found little that would satiate that desire. Until now!

I was beside myself with excitement when I spotted the new line of Endangered Species Créme Filled Dark Chocolate bars in a NY health food store. So much so that I couldn’t stop at just one. I bought all six!

As I bit into the first one – blueberry vanilla creme (oh my!) – it hit me that I should review each of them in haiku!

It’s taken me a while to get through them all. But here, dear friends, is the round up.

Sea Salt and Lime Créme Filled Dark Chocolate

Sea Salt and Lime Créme Filled Dark Chocolate

Chocolate, sea salt
And lime are oh so divine!
I am in heaven.

If there was one thing I think that could make them even better, it would be a little more crème in each of them. But that said, I  loved every single one! At the moment I was eating them, each was my favorite.  And the fact that 10% of the profits go toward saving endangered animals makes them even better.

If I had to pick my absolute favorite, I would have to say it is the sea salt and lime.  The lime flavor is so bright, the sea salt adds complexity and the dark chocolate is rich and creamy.  It really is perfection. I think this is the one I’m going to be coming back to time and again.

So my advice (in haiku of course!):

Seek these out. Indulge.
Enjoy them all thoroughly.
You’ll be glad you did!
