Bangkok Restaurant Review: Bo.lan

Petit Fours

There are a few times in life when you will have a dining experience so exceptional you’ll be smiling for days afterwards at the memory of it.  My dinner at Bo.lan was one of those rare occasions.

My entire review of Bo.lan could be the following two sentences: Phenomenal. Put it at the top of your dining bucket list.

However, that wouldn’t be doing it justice.

Geneva, Switzerland Restaurant Review: Helveg Café

So it may not come as too much of a surprise that Geneva is not the most vegan-friendly city or the best place to be gluten free. While it does have a large number of ethnic restaurants that can cater well to vegans, including some great Ethiopian, Vietnamese and Thai options, in most cafes and restaurants, it is a struggle. Chiang Mai Restaurant Review: Anchan Vegetarian Restaurant

My friends Vicci and Faye described Anchan Vegetarian Restaurant as the best restaurant in Chiang Mai, so when we all decided to go there for dinner one Friday night I was very excited.  The restaurant is located in a small soi off Nimmenhaemin Road, a very cool part of Chiang Mai with great shopping, plenty of restaurants, and lots of energy.

Chiang Dao, Thailand Restaurant Review: Chiang Dao Nest 1 (and Chiang Dao Caves!)

On one of our days in Chiang Mai, some friends from South Africa who now live in the city arranged for us to visit Chiang Dao Caves and have lunch in the area.  Chiang Dao is about an hour north of Chiang Mai and the drive to get there is stunning, through gorgeous countryside and lush rainforest.
