Warsaw, Poland Restaurant Review: Loving Hut

Loving Hut may be a vegan fast food chain, but I’ve yet to go to a Loving Hut where the menu even resembles one that I’ve been to before.  The Loving Hut Warsaw is decidedly Vietnamese with a huge variety of dishes to choose from.

The staff didn’t speak English, they don’t have an English menu, just pictures, and I was a bit nervous about possibly getting “glutened.” In the end, I opted for the Bun Nem, which I hoped would be relatively safe, given that it is a rice noodle-based dish.  It was, and it was so good.

Bun Nem is a warm rice noodle salad served with a protein and crispy rice packets.  This one had a lovely light lemongrass dressing, and was served with crisp lettuce and cucumber.  The tofu was spectacular, and the rice spring rolls, packed with glass noodles, veggies and mushrooms were bursting with flavor.

Perfect for a quick, filling meal.

Like all Loving Huts, it doesn’t have much of an ambience; more of a hole-in-the-wall kind of feel.  After I finished my dinner, I didn’t linger.
