Fig and Banana Green Smoothie

Before I went on my last trip, I bought a nice big box of small fresh figs. I couldn’t let them go to waste, so I removed the stems and popped them in the freezer.  Now I’ll be enjoying them in smoothies for some time to come!

This is one of my favorite, simple green smoothie recipes. And it is packed with hemp protein, so it will keep you feeling satisfied for quite some time. So good!

  1. 3 cups baby spinach
  2. 6 small or 3 regular figs, frozen
  3. 1 banana, frozen
  4. 3 tbsps hemp protein powder (or recommended amount of other protein powder)
  5. 1½ cups almond milk
  6. Stevia, to taste
  1. Place all ingredients in blender and blend on high until smooth.
