Today I’m sharing with you my current green smoothie obsession. This is a smoothie that will give you a nice wake-up kick! The flavors are bright and intense, sweet and spicy, and absolutely delicious.
The cayenne pepper hits about 10 seconds after you take a sip and lingers for a little while afterwards. But the cayenne is balanced beautifully by the tangy pineapple and sweet, juicy mango. I add chia seeds for an extra dose of essential omegas and fiber.
This is a smoothie that I’ll be drinking again and again this summer!

Spicy Mango & Pineapple Green Smoothie

Ingredients
- 1 cup mango chunks, frozen
- 1 cup pineapple chunks, frozen
- 1 1/2 cups coconut water
- 3 cups baby spinach
- 2 tbsps chia seeds
- 1/4 - 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Stevia, to taste
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend on high until smooth.
Notes
- You may want to try just a little cayenne pepper at first (maybe even an 8th of a tsp) and increase to taste. I like mine spicy!
