Papaya Lime Green Smoothie

Some flavor combinations are just sublime and that is true for this light, but satisfying papaya and lime green smoothie. This tropical smoothie reminds me of being in Thailand, where papaya and lime are in abundance and can be found on just about every street corner. I added chia seeds to get in some omega-3s and omega-6s. It’s also great with hemp seeds, flax seeds or any combination of them! 

This smoothie can be a wonderful way to start your day or a refreshing spring afternoon treat. Either way, you’re guaranteed to love it! 

Papaya Lime Green Smoothie
Serves 2
Write a review
  1. 3 cups fresh baby spinach or kale
  2. 2 cups papaya, cubed and frozen
  3. 1 peeled lime, fresh or frozen
  4. 1 cup almond milk
  5. 1 tbsp chia seeds
  6. 1/2 cup water
  7. 1/8 tsp salt
  8. Stevia, to taste (optional)
  9. Ice (optional)
  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high until smooth.
  1. For two generous servings, the calories should be just 118 per serving.
