Raspberry Mango Zinger Green Smoothie

I don’t know why but berries have been in abundance at my local supermarkets lately, and very inexpensive too. I’ve been eating them as though it were summer! I’m not going to complain, although I do feel a bit guilty about the distance they have had to travel to get to my kitchen table.

As I fall asleep at night, I often think about what kind of smoothie I’ll make in the morning (sad, I know!) When I dreamt up this smoothie, I almost was too excited actually fall asleep!

The flavors in this smoothie are just sensational: tart raspberries, sweet mango, sour lime and ginger, which gives it a nice refreshing kick. It’s the kind of smoothie that will wake you up and get you going, even on mornings when you wish it were just freezing outside instead of bone-chillingly cold.  

Raspberry Mango Zinger Green Smoothie

  1. 3 cups baby spinach or chopped kale
  2. 1 cup frozen mango
  3. 1 cup raspberries, fresh or frozen
  4. 1 lime, peeled, fresh or frozen
  5. 1 small chunk of ginger (about the size of the tip of your thumb)
  6. 2 tbsps hemp seeds (or other seeds)
  7. 1 1/2 cups almond milk
  8. Stevia, to taste
  1. Add all ingredients to blender and blend on high until smooth.
