Papaya and Dragon Fruit Green Smoothie

I just came back from Thailand, where the tropical fruit is amazingly good! Every day I was there I snacked on the most delicious dragon fruit, guava, pineapple, papaya, watermelon and the best ever little ladyfinger bananas. This smoothie combines two of my favorite tropical fruits: dragon fruit and papaya.  In the US, beautiful pink or white dragon fruit can be found in fruit markets in China towns across the country, and sometimes, if you’re lucky at a local supermarket.  I love the way that the papaya makes this smoothie taste extra creamy! 

Papaya and Dragonfruit Green Smoothie

Ingredients
  1. 3 cups baby spinach, fresh
  2. 1 cup almond milk
  3. 1 cup dragon fruit, cut into cubes and frozen
  4. 1 cup papaya, cut into cubes and frozen
  5. 3 tbsps hemp protein powder (or other protein powder)
  6. 1 tbsp flax seeds
  7. Stevia, to taste
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend on high until smooth.
